How to Play Fan Tan
Fan Tan is a Chinese game of chance. A random number of beads is divided into groups of four. You bet on how many beads remain after the division: 1, 2, 3, or 0 (represented as 4). Additional combination bets are available.
How to Play
- Place your bet on one or more outcomes (1, 2, 3, or 4), or combination bets.
- Beads are counted and divided into groups of four.
- The remainder determines the winning number.
- Single number bets pay approximately 2.85:1.
Bet Types
- Fan (single number): approximately 2.85:1
- Nim (two numbers): approximately 1.9:1
- Kwok (two numbers, different structure): approximately 0.95:1
- Nga Tan / Sheh-Sam-Hong: additional combination bets
Millionaire Mode
An optional side bet. Qualifying outcomes pay from the Millionaire prize pool, up to $1,000,000.
