Caribbean Stud
How to Play
Caribbean Stud is poker at its most straightforward. Place your Ante, get five cards, and decide: are you in or are you out? At EvoJacks, you play against the dealer, not other players. Your five cards are dealt face-up, and you can see one of the dealer's five cards. If you like your hand, Raise for double your Ante. If not, Fold and move on to the next hand.
The twist is that the dealer has to qualify with at least Ace-King. If the dealer does not qualify, you win 1:1 on the Ante and your Raise comes back to you. If the dealer does qualify and you beat them, the Ante still pays 1:1 and the Raise pays based on your hand strength — all the way up to 100:1 for a Royal Flush.
There are no community cards, no draws, and no multi-round betting. One look at your hand, one decision, and the result plays out. The simplicity makes Caribbean Stud a great entry point for players who want poker payouts without the complexity of Hold'em or multi-street games. The single visible dealer card gives you just enough information to make an informed Raise or Fold decision on every hand.
Side Bets
Caribbean Stud includes the 5+1 Bonus — a side bet that combines your five cards with the dealer's visible card. The extra card creates more hand combinations, so stronger hands like Three of a Kind and Straights appear more often than in a standard five-card deal. The side bet pays regardless of whether you win or lose the main hand.
5+1 Bonus
Takes your 5 cards and the dealer's up-card to find the best poker hand from 6 cards. Three of a Kind or better pays out, and a Royal Flush hits 1000:1.
| Hand | Payout |
|---|---|
| Royal Flush | 1000:1 |
| Straight Flush | 200:1 |
| Four of a Kind | 100:1 |
| Full House | 20:1 |
| Flush | 15:1 |
| Straight | 10:1 |
| Three of a Kind | 7:1 |
The 5+1 Bonus is evaluated before the Raise or Fold decision, so it pays even if you fold the main hand. A hand that is too weak to raise might still contain a Three of a Kind or Flush when the dealer's up-card is factored in, giving the side bet value independent of your main game strategy.
Millionaire Mode
Add a $1 side bet for a shot at $1,000,000. Seven cards are evaluated for the spade straight flush: 8♠ 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ A♠. Your 5 cards plus the dealer's up-card plus 1 bonus card drawn from the deck = 7 cards evaluated.
| Matching Cards | Payout |
|---|---|
| 7 of 7 — Complete Straight Flush | $1,000,000 |
| 6 of 7 | $3,000 |
| 5 of 7 | $200 |
| 4 of 7 | $15 |
| 3 of 7 | $8 |
| 2 of 7 | $1 |
Provably Fair
Every hand is locked in before you bet. The server commits a SHA-256 hash of its random seed, and the deck order is fixed at that point. After the hand, the raw seed is revealed so you can verify it. No one can change the outcome once your bet is placed. Your client seed and a per-round nonce add your own randomness to the mix, and you can check any hand from the game history panel at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How is Caribbean Stud different from regular poker?
You play against the dealer, not other players. There is no bluffing, no community cards, and no card draws. You get 5 cards, see one of the dealer's cards, and decide to Raise or Fold. The dealer needs Ace-King or better to qualify.
What is the 5+1 Bonus?
A side bet that combines your 5 cards with the dealer's up-card. The best poker hand from those 6 cards determines the payout. Three of a Kind starts at 7:1 and Royal Flush pays 1000:1.
What happens if the dealer does not qualify?
You win 1:1 on the Ante and your Raise bet is returned. The dealer needs at least Ace-King to qualify. Side bets still pay regardless of dealer qualification.
How does Millionaire Mode work here?
A $1 side bet checks 7 cards for the spade straight flush. Your 5 cards, the dealer's up-card, and 1 bonus card are evaluated. Match all 7 target spades (8 through Ace) for $1,000,000.
Can I improve my hand after dealing?
No, Caribbean Stud is a single-decision game. Once dealt, you Raise or Fold. If you want to exchange cards, try Oasis Poker, which adds a card swap mechanic to the same base game.
What currencies can I use?
All supported cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, and more. Bets and payouts convert to your active currency at the current exchange rate.
